Labor Day is always the first Monday of September. The first Labor Day was September 5, 1882. No one is sure of who founded the holiday, but most think it was either Peter McGuire or Matthew McGuire. The holiday is dedicated to American workers. It is a yearly holiday to appreciate the hard work of American citizens. Read more here.
