I think that the thing that even though guns are dangerous and people sometimes use them the wrong way, we should still have the right to own guns. If people couldn't own guns we wouldn't be able to defend ourselves. Even if the football player didn't have a gun, he still could've killed his girlfriend and himself. I don't think that taking away guns will solve this problem because there are other ways to be violent. If he didn't have a gun and he really wanted to kill his girlfriend and himself, he would've found a way. This is why I think that taking away our guns won't help our country at all. Guns can be used the wrong way, and many times they are, but they can also be used the right way. They shouldn't be taken away from people who use them the right way just because some people abuse the right to own guns.
